About Me

Hey everyone!!! I trust you are all well?

A little about me....

I live in the Mid-Atlantic USA, but I'm originally from the Mid-West USA. From the one of the largest to one of the smallest, it has been quite a transition.  I am married to my wife of 20 years, we have 4 sons, 17, 14, 11, and 6. Needless to say they keep us on our toes.

I have a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and air traffic control, but do not use it in any way. I am currently a Customer Service Manager for the world’s largest pilot training company. I have been with them for 15 years and will stay with them even after completing my next degree, Information Systems Technology, Cyber Security.

My passion has always been in tinkering with technology, as I grew up with it. I am roughly the same age as Star Wars so do the math with the growth of tech. Hopefully upon completing this course of study I will broaden my horizons and broaden my company’s horizons as well. They are sorely lacking in cyber security and falling way behind in technology in general.

Sadly, I have little to no "real" background in IT. I have built several machines, and have always tweaked everything I've gotten my hands on. Pretty much the deepest I am into real tech is with iOS, for iPhone and iPad. I have rooted, jail-broken, hash-blobbed, and bricked so many devices. I stopped short of app design for Cydia. In the future my plans are to tackle the cyber-security for my current workplace, at least until my tuition assistance is paid back. Then I have an in at the Pentagon (no kidding) to get me in the door. I really hope that this is the front door to the IT world for me, and things will take off from there!
